Parent note about Minn of the Mississippi: I recommend prereading Minn of the Mississippi before sharing it with your children. A few lines promote evolutionary ideas that conflict with a biblical Creation worldview. I chose to skip those lines while reading it aloud. I also explained to my son why these lines differ from what our family believes.
Despite these few lines, the book offers a valuable opportunity to explore the geography along the Mississippi River and have meaningful conversations about important topics.
